Innovator in Residence AI: Fireside with Catherine D'Ignazio from Data Feminism

Join us online in this fireside chat with Kishawna Peck and co-author Catherine D'Ignazio of Data Feminism The program will wrap up the Data Feminism series.

This is the last program in the 3 part Data Feminism series. The first two parts of the series,  you will learn a new way of thinking about data science and data ethics that is informed by the ideas of intersectional feminism through a breakdown of the book Data Feminism by Catherine D’Ignazio and Lauren F. Klein. We will cover a few chapters each session with study guides as accompaniments to build on the principles of Data Feminism to help inform your work and life.

Toronto Public Library is pleased to present Innovator in Resident Kishawna Peck. This 10-week residency is a journey into the multi-faceted world of Artificial Intelligence, and will run from October 3rd- December 10th, 2022
