In this three-part series, we learn about algorithms that impact our daily lives and the lack of explainability for models with high levels of impact through reading Weapons of Math Destruction by Cathy O’Neil. We will cover a few chapters each session with study guides as accompaniments to expose you to these concepts and spur discussions as a group.
