Core to Toronto Womxn in Data Science's mission is increasing data literacy amongst women. This mission-aligned partnership will work to provide datathon participants with a personalized and skills-driven learning path involving the following:
- Recommending suitable courses
- Building proficiency in data science through exploring real-world data
- Prioritizing in-demand data skills
- Monitoring skills progress and suggesting improvements
“Data skills can help transform lives. Building data projects and solving real-world problems helped me go from working at a factory to working in online education. Through this partnership, I’m excited to help these datathon participants take the same journey that I did.” said Vik Paruchuri, Dataquest President and Founder.
