The nominations for the inaugural Toronto Womxn in Data Science Awards were open until March 29th. The objective of the awards is to recognize and celebrate women and minoritized genders in data professions who are leaders in their field, have demonstrated expertise in data or are driving change in their organizations and offering innovative solutions. The winners will be recognized at our Award Ceremony on the evening of April 28th at
The Drake Hotel.

What is the format of this year's Conference and Awards?

The conference talks, panels and workshops on April 27th and 28th will be hosted on a virtual platform called Venue. The Award Ceremony on the evening of April 28th will be held at The Drake Hotel with recordings available to anyone who cannot make it in person. We will also be sending out recordings of all sessions subject to speaker approval post conference. 

Who should attend the 5th Annual Toronto Womxn in Data Science Conference & Awards?

The Conference and Awards are open to everyone. The majority of our audience are data professionals looking to keep up with the latest trends and build community. There are talks, panels and workshops accessible to a variety of skill sets. 

I can't attend the award ceremony in person. How can I join? 

We will be recording the award ceremony and providing all Conference attendees with playbacks of the award recipients acceptance speeches and event recap videos. 

Where can I find the Conference schedule?

We're confirming the timings of all the speakers however you can find a rough schedule here. It is subject to change.
